Did anybody find the irony in Ray being revealed to have been arrested for streaking in the Season 3 episode History a La Carte?
In the episode, he agrees to be Tamera's extra-credit history project when she and Tia find out that he had been denied FBI clearance due to him being arrested during the '60s.
When he is in their history class, the students there ask him what he was arrested for.
One of them assumes that it was because of his involvement in protesting. When the pressure becomes too much for him, he finally reveals that it was because he went streaking which shocks them all, including Tia and Tamera.
Once they all get over their initial shock, they (except for Tia and Tamera) run over to him believing that what he did was cool.
When I first viewed the episode, I found the discovery of Ray to be rather surprising considering his strict, uptight, by-the-book demeanor on the show.
Now, I can understand if Lisa, Patrice, Victor, or even Jimmy (his father) did something crazy like this back in the day, but,.......HIM?????????
(scoffs).........That's just hard to believe.
Did anybody at all find the irony in Ray being revealed to have been arrested for streaking in the episode?
Yes or no?
